Park Pavillions in Caldas da Rainha
The Park Pavilions in Caldas da Rainha are located in Parque D. Carlos I. Built in 1893, in a project by the architect Rodrigo Berquó, who was also administrator of the Thermal Hospital and an essential name in the history of thermalism of the city.
The building would have the objective of constituting the future Hospital D. Carlos. I serving as an internment area and other services of the hospital unit that already existed, and this would be used exclusively as a dressing room.
The Park Pavilions would never be used to fulfill the purpose of their construction and, over the years, they have hosted several institutions in Caldas da Rainha.
