Óbidos Medieval Town & Buddha Eden Private Tour – This visit allows us to explore Portugal’s most charming medieval town: the Moorish castle with over 1300 years of history, the Moorish and Jewish quarter, the Santiago bookshop housed in a 13th century royal chapel and even taste the famous Ginjinha in a chocolate cup. Then we’ll set off to discover what is considered to be the largest oriental garden in Europe: Budha Eden.
The Route:
We’ll start our tour in the town of Óbidos, where we’ll explore among many other things: the Moorish Castle, the Moorish and Jewish quarter, the church of Santa Maria, and the bookshops of Santiago and the Organic Market. The guided tour of Óbidos will end with a free tasting of a Ginjinha de Óbidos.
After this visit, we’ll set off for Bombarral and for an hour we’ll explore this oriental garden full of art, considered to be the largest in Europe.
