Espaço Concas in Caldas da Rainha
Espaço Concas in Caldas da Rainha is dedicated to Maria da Conceição Nunes (Concas), a painter born in Coimbra in 1946 who lived for several years in Africa. She later returned with her parents to Lisbon, where she studied Fine Arts, and moved to Caldas da Rainha in 1976.
In Caldas she taught at the School of Art and Design, in the building that now houses the Caldas da Rainha Arts Centre. Her family donated her works to the municipality so that they could be shown in a permanent collection.
Take the chance to visit the other spaces of the Caldas da Rainha Arts Centre: the Leopoldo de Almeida Museum, the António Duarte Atelier-Museum, the João Fragoso Atelier-Museum and the Barata Feyo Museum.
Admission to all these spaces is free.
