Espaço Concas in Caldas da Rainha

The Espaço Concas in Caldas da Rainha, is dedicated to Maria da Conceição Nunes (Concas), a painter who was born in Coimbra in 1946 and lived for several years in Africa. After Africa he returned with his parents to Lisbon, where he studied Fine Arts. His arrival in Caldas da Rainha is dated 1976.

Here he taught at the Escola Superior de Artes e Design (where he now lives at the Caldas da Rainha Arts Center). In this sense, the family donated their works to the municipality so that, in return, they could host them in a permanent nucleus.

Take the opportunity to discover the remaining spaces that are part of the Caldas da Rainha Arts Center, namely: Leopoldo de Almeida Museum, António Duarte Atelier-Museum, João Fragoso Atelier-Museum and Barata Feyo Museum.
