Ermida de São Sebastião in Caldas da Rainha
Ermida de São Sebastião in Caldas da Rainha, is located at the north top of Praça da Fruta (Praça da República).
Its origins go back to the foundation of Caldas da Rainha, in the transition from the 15th to the 16th century, having undergone remodeling works in the 18th century, within the scope of the reforms promoted by D. João V in the locality.
We point to its interior lining, in blue and white tiles, it is a work of art that deserves to be seen, and that narrates episodes from the life of São Sebastião.
The Ermida de São Sebastião is part of the city’s thermal heritage, and as such, your visit must be requested to the Hospital and Caldas Museum or else contact us and you will have a fantastic experience.
