Alcobaça Monastery: Private Tour & Ceramics Workshop

Alcobaça Monastery: Private Tour & Ceramics Workshop – this visit allows us to explore one of Portugal’s most iconic monasteries, and at the same time have a lesson in how to draw and paint a Portuguese tile. You can send the tile to an address of your choice at the end so that you can keep the result of your experience.

The Route:

We’ll start at the Monastery of Alcobaça, where we’ll explain the history behind its foundation by the Cistercian monks. But that’s just the beginning, because we’ll then explore the cloisters and the church, where we’ll see the kitchen, the refectory and the Chapter Room, as well as the tombs of King Pedro I and Queen Leonor.

After the visit to the monastery, we’ll head to the atelier where we’ll do a drawing and tile painting workshop.
