Ceramics Route Tour, a vibrant world full of creativity
The Ceramics Route Tour comes not only from UNESCO’s recognition of Caldas da Rainha as a creative city in 2019 for its handicrafts and popular arts, but also from the harnessing of a critical mass that populates city spaces that seek to be experienced.
The Walk:
The route is shaped by the willingness of the artists to welcome us, and we will always visit four different atelier´s related to ceramics, where we will talk with the artists and see their work. In the end you will be offered a souvenir to take home with you.

The Ceramics Route Tour is for all those who want to know more about the vibrant atmosphere around Caldas da Rainha, where there is a community of crafters linked to the ceramic movement.
It is also an excelent way to discover the city and its spaces that, here and there, always show us details related to this type of culture, such as the Bordalo Pinheiro Route, 20 pieces in human scale made of ceramics and the tiles that are scattered around every corner we make in the city.
The tour is intended for all ages, visitors, tourists and locals who have the curiosity to venture through the streets and corners of this Silver Coast Portuguese city.
